Foster L. Sirbaugh, Jr. is a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and Shepherd University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a Minor in Economics. He began his insurance career with Farmers and Mechanics Mutual Insurance Company of West Virginia in 1982. Mr. Sirbaugh has held various positions within the company including the Underwriting, Claims and Accounting Departments and as a Field Inspector/Representative. He has also worked on the agency operations side of the insurance industry.
Currently, Mr. Sirbaugh is the President and CEO of Farmers and Mechanics Mutual Insurance Company of West Virginia, Farmers Mechanics Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, and Pulaski & Giles Mutual Insurance Company. In addition, he is currently a Board Member for Farmers and Mechanics Mutual Insurance Company of West Virginia, Farmers and Mechanics Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, and Pulaski & Giles Mutual Insurance Company.
Mr. Sirbaugh also serves as a Board Member for the West Virginia Insurance Guaranty Association, the West Virginia Essential Property Insurance Association “Fair Plan,” and Treasurer of the West Virginia Insurance Federation. He has been affiliated with many Civic organizations including the United Way, Rotary Club of Martinsburg, and volunteered with various youth recreational leagues and school athletic boosters.
Mr. Sirbaugh is married to Michelle, and they have three grown children, and three grandchildren.
