Farmers & Mechanics Welcomes Harley Tingler
Please join us in welcoming Harley E. Tingler to the Farmers & Mechanics Family. Harley assumed the role as Claims Manager on January 16, 2018.
Harley received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (with a major in Accounting) and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University. After practicing law for seven years, he joined State Farm Insurance Companies and served in many different roles during his thirty year career there. Harley has supervisory experience in Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Subrogation, Total Loss, and Salvage as well as in the Budgeting/Planning area. During part of his time with State Farm he also served in an in-house counsel role. He retired from State Farm on June 1, 2017.
Harley and his wife Sheila live in Martinsburg, and their three children reside in the area as well. His hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
