Farmers & Mechanics Welcomes New Claims Examiners
Farmers and Mechanics Insurance Companies are pleased to welcome Arnold G. Cooper, Jr. to the Farmers & Mechanics Family. Arnold was hired as our new Claim Examiner on April 1, 2018. Arnold has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan of Rocky Mount, NC. After graduating from college, he taught 5th grade math at Aurelian Springs Elementary in Littleton, NC for one year. In 2002 Arnold joined State Farm Insurance at Frederick, MD Operation Center and spent the past 16 years as an Auto Claim Specialist that involved handling Property Damage, Bodily Injury, Arbitration and Total Losses. During his time with State Farm, Arnold also spent time in a Lead Worker role where he was involved with hiring, coaching, and mentoring other employees along with handling Insurance Department complaints.
Arnold, his wife Heather, and three daughters, Reese age 9, Carly age 6, and Rowan age 3 live in Hedgesville, WV. His hobbies include fishing, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
Farmers and Mechanics is also pleased to welcome Keith E. Estep to the Farmers & Mechanics Family. Keith was hired April 16, 2018 as our new Claim Examiner in Southern West Virginia. Keith received both his Bachelor’s Degree in General Business and his Associates Degree in Management from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV. Keith has approximately 12 years of combined experience as a Claims Adjuster in both multi-line and specialized property units. Most recently he attended and graduated near the top of his Basic Class at the West Virginia State Police Academy. After nearly 3 years in the Law Enforcement field, Keith decided to continue his insurance adjusting career.
Keith and his wife Lana live in Shady Spring, WV, along with their four children. His hobbies include playing golf and slow pitch softball, watching his son play baseball, running/hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.
